To this day, controversy surrounds the work of renowned naturalist and educator Evgeniy Jelacic, "The Far North as the Homeland of Humanity." In it, he presents a number of compelling pieces of evidence that the ancestral home of the Indo-Europeans was not Africa, as previously believed, but northern Russia.

The sacred texts of the Indian Rig Veda and the ancient Iranian Avesta contain accounts of the life of Indo-Europeans in other, more northern regions. The mention of a year consisting of one day and one night, and of the North Star being directly overhead, supports the only possible geographic possibility: the North Pole was the homeland of the ancient Aryans.
The author supports his arguments with scientific research, as well as the conclusions of the renowned 19th-century Indian scholar Bala Tilak, one of the first to propose the sensational Arctic theory.

Evgeny Jelacic's work was further developed by Russian ethnographer Svetlana Zharnikova, who made a significant contribution to the study of the common ancestral homeland of the Aryan peoples. This book will be of interest to anyone interested in human history, Russian culture, and the mystery of the famed Hyperborea.
